SCIENTIFIC STUDIES
Prior to participating the projects and right after the project activities, an online survey will be conducted. Participants will be asked questions such as level of current physical activities, frequency of doing exercise or sports or the importance and meaning of exercise and sports. -

Istanbul is the city with the highest number of universities in Turkey with a total of 62 universities. Outdoor activities will be held on September 23-30 in 2022 and 2023, and a total of 30 events will take place in this city due to the large population. |
2 | Ankara | Ankara, located in the Central Anatolia region, is the second most populous city in Turkey with a population of approximately 6 million and is the capital of Turkey. 14.9% of the population is young. 3 | Izmir | Located in the Aegean region, İzmir is Turkey’s third most populous city with a population of approximately 4.5 million. 13.2% of the population constitutes the young population. Considered the most important event of the European Sports Week, which is traditionally celebrated all over the world, together with the European Union countries, the "BeActive Night Event" is also accepted as an indicator of the spread of sports culture to the social base in countries.
In order to develop the awareness of healthy life through sports in the societies of the country and to spread the sports culture to the social base, various sports activities are held on this day, but it is also accepted as an indicator of the importance given to sports by the country's administrators.
In our country, in addition to the events we will organize in 7 different regions,in 7 provinces, at home and on social media channels, the "Get Moving Night - BeActive Night Events", which is stated as the most important day of the 2022 European Sports Week events, will be organized in Istanbul on September 24, 2022. After the sporting events to be held throughout the province, a BeActive Night will be organized with the wide participation of our citizens of all ages, from 3 to 93.
Within the scope of the project we carried out last year, this event was held in Izmir; BeActive Night event will take place in Istanbul in 2022 and in Antalya in 2023. Famous sports trainers will interact with the citizens on the huge stage to be set up, both entertaining them and encouraging their participation in different sports activities. Popular activities such as Zumba, Group Fitness, Hiit, Rhtyhm Dance, and exercises with music and salsa will take place. Apart from this, a concert is planned at the end of the night that will excite the citizens and make them move more.
An event will be held in the spirit of a sports festival, where sports branches will be promoted and our citizens of all ages from 3 to 93 will participate interactively. Our country will be represented in the best way by organizing a full event, from stage sports shows to interactive sports events, in which our national athletes will take an active role in the program in order to be role models for future generations.
Our country will be represented in the best way on this important day celebrated all over the world, with the slogan of #Sports Country Turkey, by organizing a “Take Action Night – BeActive Night Event” in the spirit of the Sports Festival.
By ensuring the participation of role model figures from the world of sports, art and politics in the program, awareness will be created in order to spread the sports culture to the grassroots.
