European Week of Sport in Erzurum Marked by a Cycling Tour Through Historic Sites
As part of the 10th anniversary of the European Week of Sport, a cycling tour held in Erzurum offered participants both a sporting and cultural experience through the city’s historic landmarks.
The event took place along a route that passed through Erzurum’s iconic heritage sites. Participants cycled around the Çifte Minareli Medrese, Üç Kümbetler, and the Yakutiye Medrese, enjoying a ride enriched by the city's cultural atmosphere.
With participants from all age groups, the cycling tour highlighted the importance of an active lifestyle while drawing attention to Erzurum’s historical treasures.
